Charting: Editing charts : part 3

In this short tutorial, we will change the attributes of the chart title and the chart legend.

First, select the chart and go into Edit mode. Select the Legend object and click on Object properties as shown below.

In the Object Proiperties dialog, select the Characters tab. We will increase the font size a few points.

In the Area tab, we will add some grey background fill.

With the desired modifications complete, click OK to close the dialog. The modified chart is shown below.

I need to use the "line" charts, often with 4 or 5 lines representing data. Printing these, the lines come out too thin and some -- especially the yellow-- simply doesn't come out well on my colour laser.

How do I set the line thickness, and how can I change the colours of them?

G'day Garry

You can select each line - which can be really tricky as you have to click exactly on the line, and make sure the chart wall is unselected first - then right click and choose properties. From there you should see all the options you need :-)
