Website updates

I have been reviewing the contents of this site and I decided that - rather than continue adding new tips, I would mainly revamp, update and otherwise improve the existing content between now and the end of the year. Thanks for all the feedback I have been getting. There will also be new articles of course.

One suggestion that was made was to use Flash graphics to illustrate each tip as shown in this example .

Let us know what you think. All updated articles will be marked as such in the index page (link on the right)

I think graphics like that along with the fine text would indeed be very useful. This is a great site, I get the updates via RSS and think all the info hear is of value to everyone starting or currently working with OO.

There's a very minor formatting silly in th eentry here: http://www.openofficetips.com/blog/archives/2004/10/financial_funct.html

"fv" needs to be bolded up and set on a new line.

As someone who only recently went from dialup to high speed (I know--there's a big black hole in my neighborhood), Flash might not be great for the slower dialup folks. On the other hand, I might have been the last holdout. ;>

Calc is a bit of a weak spot for me, since my primary experience is in desktop publishing and graphic art, so I appreciate all the Calc tips you can provide, in whatever format or organization.
